Jina’s journey into the skincare industry originated in her early twenties during an exhausting personal battle with severe cystic acne and scarring. That struggle fueled a lifelong passion for clinical esthetics and root-cause cellular healing.
Years later, while researching advanced dermatological therapies in Seoul, she discovered the transformative power of trichology and Korean scalp science. She realized what Western esthetics often overlooks: the scalp and facial skin share the same fascial envelope (SMAS), and true complexion vitality begins with a healthy, balanced scalp barrier.
She founded Scalp to Face in Houston to offer clients a private, unhurried alternative to commercial head spas: personalized care grounded in real micro-camera diagnostics, non-stripping hydro-cleansing, and clinical Korean formulations.
